Rockin TJ Ranch Bozeman Wedding | Steven + Jordan |

You guys hear me talking about natural light all the time and these photos are a perfect example of what I'm talking about. I think 95% of these photos were taken in natural light (meaning outdoors or inside with window light only) and the results are amazing! Don't you agree? Everything is soft, creamy, with a nice glow. I remember popping on a flash at the reception for a few shots, but thats about it... for the entire day.

What this means for my future couples. Plan all your portraits, including family, outside during daylight hours. Be sure to pick a getting ready room that has large windows or sliding glass doors. We can certainly take your ceremony and reception photos inside (with artificial light/flash), but for a nice consistent look...be aware of the brightness of your venue before booking. A church with dark or black walls will not have the light and airy look that matches the rest of your natural light portfolio.

Shade and sunset are the BEST light for a natural light photographer. If you are having an outdoor ceremony then try your best to request a shady spot to say 'I do' (and your guests will thank you too). Also, take note of your wedding day sunset time and plan some special portraits right around sunset.

If you're interested in Booking with us in 2018-2019 then contact us today and we'll start the process of creating a perfect timeline that will allow us to capture the most beautiful natural light wedding photos for you to treasure FOREVER.
