I did a poll on instagram and all other photographers said I should share less than 150 sneak peek photos after a wedding day, so here is over 300! It’s the best I could do. I’m really bad at narrowing down photos, but especially for this day!
This wedding is one I’ll never forget. Eric and I left the closest nearby town where we were staying and traveled for another 1.5 hours just to get to the destination, passing only a few other homes along the way, but many deer, antelope, cows, sheep, and even a bear (Eric got pictures of it’s 💩 😂), with the last few miles being pretty rugged terrain (Eric jumped in the driver’s seat for it because he said it was fun 😂). Then, you come up over the last stretch of the drive and finally look down at this slice of heaven down by the river.
It took our breath away!
We didn’t have cell service so Eric and I made a game plan the night before while scouting out the ranch for day-of communication and when we needed something in a pinch the ranch had continuous running side by sides to get us from one part of the ranch to the other.
The ranch was started by Shelby’s grandfather and now ran by her uncle. Phil and Shelby also got engaged here, so getting married here was extra special to them.
They had over 200 people shuttled in on school buses, which just goes to show that Shelby and Phil were even more exceptional than the venue itself.
Phil’s eyes filled with tears seeing Shelby for the first time and Shelby wore a smile the entire day that belonged on the front of a magazine…speaking of, this one is getting submitted to Rocky Mountain Bride!
