This was our very first double header wedding in one weekend.
We quit shooting at 10pm on Saturday night. Drove 1.5 hours back to our hotel, showered, re charged batteries, caught some ZZZ , and hit the road at sunrise the next morning to drive 4.5 hours to Red Lodge, Montana to photograph Brendan and Marissa’s big day!

Eric drove while I uploaded Saturday’s photos and backed them up on my external hard drive so that I could have clear cards to shoot with all day. My husband is my hero and I could not do this sort of thing without him!
We stopped about 5 minutes away from their venue (just along the road) changed clothes, freshened up, did a funny little reel, and arrived just in time to start photographing their details.
Shortly after, Marissa arrived with her beautiful tan skin, rich dark hair, beautiful big eyes, and her amazing bridesmaids. I couldn’t wait to start doing their portraits, especially after I saw her unique dress from Belle en Blanc in Billings.
Eric was with the guys, something he had looked forward to for a long time, because Brendan (and his best man, Logan) were two of his closest friends while we were living in Billings. They did Bible study together, served at church together, and even got their pump on together!
We couldn’t be happier for these two. Their day was so beautiful, filled with laughter from kids running around, horses, ponds, and mountains in the backdrop, familiar faces spread across the property, and the Montana Wildflower Wedding crew sure knows how to make a bride’s dreams come true with their styling and attention to detail.
